The Interview Advantage

Your defining moment

Technical ability and experience may earn you an interview, but what you say - and how you say it - will shape the impression you leave. An interview is a high-stakes communication moment: you need to explain your value clearly, respond naturally and build confidence in the person behind the application.

The Interview Advantage provides personalised coaching for a specific, real-life interview. It helps candidates clarify the messages they want remembered, structure strong responses and communicate with confidence and authenticity.

Coaching also identifies what is already working well - and addresses anything getting in the way, whether that’s anxiety, rambling, vocal delivery, body language or difficulty handling unexpected questions. The objective isn’t to produce scripted answers; it’s to help you feel prepared, composed and ready to respond at your best.

Providing the skills to:

  • Prepare thoroughly without sounding rehearsed

  • Identify the key messages and examples you want the interviewer to remember

  • Create a strong first impression and communicate with presence

  • Structure clear, concise and convincing answers

  • Manage nerves and maintain composure

  • Handle difficult or unexpected questions confidently

  • Ask thoughtful questions and close the interview professionally

  • Follow up appropriately after the interview

“I got the job! Thanks for all the advice, tips and techniques Duncan. They said it was one of the best interviews they’d had.”
